"The Sun shines not on us but in us. The Rivers flow not past, But through us."
- John Muir
This is a giclee print of the original linoleum carving collage on a vintage map of the Colorado River. This piece is dedicated to my wife Lara who rowed me down the Colorado River in 2005 in a 12 foot 1970s Avon raft dubbed "The Pea Shooter". It wasn't a self-bailing boat and you basically sat at eye level with the water... needless to say, it was a great introduction to the power and beauty of the Grand Canyon.
