On the Trail - Gunnison

When I think of Gunnison, the first thing that pops in my mind is ranching and horses. Ranching in the Gunnison Valley stretches back to the 1870s and is still going strong today. On the leisure side, the sprawling Gunnison National Forest provides easily some of the best horseback riding scenery in Colorado.

The original art was carved and printed by hand using a wooden spoon. The linoleum block is over 3ft (about 100cm) long. Needless to say my arm was killing me after printing this a couple times in a row...
