"Reading gives us someplace to go when we have to stay where we are."
- Mason Cooley
I have wanted to put together a small zine containing old and random carvings of mountains I have done over the years and when Gunnison County (Colorado) announced our stay-at-home order due to the spread of covid-19, it seemed like the perfect time to revisit the idea. Creating this zine was also a way to force myself to stay creative and not fall down the rabbit hole of depressing news and wondering what's going to happen with my job and family... but like most people I still follow the news and wonder about the future.
Mountains I Have Known is a 24-page, black and white zine containing carvings of mountains and photos of a few places I've had the opportunity to visit.
The pack includes:
- a 24-page, 4"x5.75" zine
- 4"x6" pre-stamped postcard to encourage you to reach out to a friend or your family
- mailed in a hand stamped envelope
- includes postage

- Only available in the US (for now)
- These are being mailed via USPS "snail mail" ie first class postage just like we used to mail zines back in the day. Please allow 1-2 weeks for delivery due to the impact of covid-19 on the postal service.
