In January 2020 Salomon hosted launch events unveiling a new ski at four different core mountains and I was asked to create an original piece of art for each location. I was stoked when they told me Crested Butte, Colorado was going to be the last stop. If you have ever skied CB, then you know the terrain is steep, technical, filled with trees, stumps, shrubs and rocks... lots of rocks...

This is a giclee print of the original linoleum carving block print using a vintage topographic map of Crested Butte (c. 1920s). The artwork was carved by hand and printed using a wooden spoon.
